Visual Manna Art
Our goal is to train young people to use their God given talents to encourage and uplift the body of Christ.  We encourage excellence in the visual arts, and believe in equipping educators to provide quality art lessons to their students. We have many curriculum options, live classes and workshops and internships available.
Class and Workshop Offerings:
We offer live classes through the Landry Academy all over the United States. We cover a semester of art in a two day intensive period. Students can learn techniques in media, elements and principles of art and art history in a two day intensive period. Another option is a four day advanced art intensive students get two teaching programs and teacher training, training in graphic art using open source programs, training in doing murals and using art in ministry, and how to put together a digital portfolio for scholarships and job opportunities. We also offer other classes and workshops by appointment for schools, churches, and individuals. Check out our intensive course offerings and customizable class and workshop options by clicking here.

Programs & Curriculum, Bundles and Art Resources:
Our program packages and resources offer a perfect art program for Christian school, private schools, homeschools or in addition to public school as a supplement. We also have individual ebooks and ebook packages, a series of power points on the elements and principles of art. Hard copy text and CDs are available through Rainbow Resource Center.

​Internships Available:
Visual Manna Media offers one month internships by invitation. These take place in Salem, MO near the beautiful Montauk State Park. Students will develop and complete a digital portfolio, learn graphic art skills on the computer, have an opportunity to clep 6 credit hours in AP studio art and drawing, and honors high school English. Owner background:
Sharon Jeffus has a B.S.S.E. in Art Education from John Brown University and continued on in her studies to be certified to teach English from the University of Arkansas. She studied painting at Metropolitan in Denver and sculpting at Southern Illinois University.She has written over twenty books and has the internationally known company Visual Manna. Sharon wrote her first book in 1992 and developed the Visual Manna teaching method where art is integrated with art appreciation, techniques, vocabulary and core subjects. She has also written an Indian Arts and Crafts program that was rated outstanding by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.Sharon taught in the public schools for ten years in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. She then left the public school system to write books, travel and homeschool her two sons. Sharon and her late husband, Richard, started Visual Manna to encourage young Christians in the arts and meet the needs of visual and kinesthetic leaners. Sharon and her husband Richard taught art to thousands of homeschoolers across America. Sharon taught Intensive English as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Missouri-Rolla and has given presentations on teaching art to college classes including Azusa Pacific University and Columbia College and the Audubon Society.  She has three AP courses that have been approved to teach. Sharon developed and presented workshops in coordination with Wonders of Wildlife Museum and Bass Pro on art and science.
